New York City

I became totally obsessed with this city from about the age of ten. I started collecting images of it from all over the place. When I was 22, the dream came true and I moved over there. I returned to the UK to finish my architecture diploma, only to get back on a plane in 2001 for another two years. These are photos from a recent trip - visiting Red Hook in Brooklyn. The metro line shots remind me of the beginning of SMOKE - a brilliant movie written by Paul Auster.
